Gecko Mounting System - Battery Mount
The Gecko battery mounts are unique injection molded parts designed & manufactured by Ay Up Lighting Systems. The mounts are made from a flexible plastic which can be twisted, bent and contorted into any shape. The mounts use 3M Velcro dots that are bonded to the Gecko feet with 3M adhesive. This allows the fixing to virtually any surface, flat or contoured. Fitting of the Gecko system takes seconds. To remove the mounts simply tear away the mount from the Velcro dots. What’s left behind is 4 soft (loop) velcro dots per mount which are hardly noticeable, unobtrusive and weigh next to nothing.
The Gecko mounts can also be mounted using either the supplied Velcro strap or the cable ties for permanent mounting. Not only can the mounts be securely fitted to any type of helmet on the market, vented or non vented, the mounts can also be fitted to a wide range of profiles like camping poles, caravans, boats, walls, ceilings, glass, the list goes on. For instance, on a recent camping trip the light and batteries were fitted to the exterior of the vehicle on the windows and a light was lofted high on a camping pole which illuminated the whole camp area, brilliant!

Stick the HOOK dots to the underside of the mount
Feed the battery lock down strap through the slots in the mount
Stick the single HOOK pad to the top of the mount in the centre
Stick the LOOP pad to the battery in the centre
Wrap the velcro strap around the battery to secure
No need to remove the battery from the mount to charge
